Problem:
When multiple locations access a server, people may select a printer in the wrong location.
Solution:
Compile
Printer Shares can be found under CMDB as a separate item. To add a new printer share, press the create button. Once all required fields are filled in, users can compile the printer share by clicking the save button.
Assign hardware
In order to link one or more printers to a hardware item, users must edit an existing hardware record. Within the edit view, users will find a subcategory labeled Printer Shares that can be used to assign various printers to the hardware.
Assign User
In order to link one or more printers to a user, users must edit an existing user record. Within the edit view, users will find a subcategory labeled "Printer Shares" that can be used to assign various printers to the user.
