Patching to a permanent cabling
After you have defined your permanent cabling, you can connect Network Devices such as Switches to the cabling.

With the Button

you can patch a Switchport with an Endpoint like Patch Panel Port.
Example: Switchport Gi1/0/1 is connected with Patch Panel A, Port A01
Important Note: You have to define the Patchcable (=short network cable) which is between the Switchport and the permanent cabling. In most cases this would be the Patch Panel Port.

now you seed the Connected Endpoint for Network Interface Gi1/0/1
